The Design Process
- Paddle and Design Selection: My artistic process begins with a careful curation of inspiration. Be it my clients' unique image, a photo from my personal collection, or collaborations with talented photographers—I meticulously choose the perfect paddle that complements and enhances the envisioned design.
- Design Printing and Wood Sealing: Once the digital design takes shape, I bring it to life by printing and overlaying it onto the selected paddle. To ensure a pristine canvas, I seal the wood, followed by two coats of Gesso. With the paddle primed, I hand-sketch the design before delving into the expressive world of acrylic painting.
- Paddle and Design Painting: The transformation unfolds as I apply acrylics to convey the envisioned design. After completing the painting, I treat the back of the paddle with a sleek black finish, sign it, and bestow it with a unique name. To safeguard the artistic creation, two coats of clear varnish are delicately applied. The result is not just a paddle; it's a masterpiece that bears the mark of craftsmanship and dedication.
- Shipping & Delivery: Once the creative process concludes, the crafted paddle is securely packed and shipped or personally delivered to the client.
