One-of-a-kind paddles, individually designed, ​sketched ​and painted in acrylics
All paddles used are sourced locally from seconds. This gives each paddle another chance to shine. They are a beautiful addition to any home or cottage. The paddle styles vary from the Voyageur to Beavertail and Ottertail paddle. The wood types may be Ash, Birch, Maple, or Cherry. Most paddles are approximately 52" in length and 5-6 inches in width.​

The Design Process

  1. Paddle and Design Selection: My artistic process begins with a careful curation of inspiration. Be it my clients' unique image, a photo from my personal collection, or collaborations with talented photographers—I meticulously choose the perfect paddle that complements and enhances the envisioned design.
  2. Design Printing and Wood Sealing: Once the digital design takes shape, I bring it to life by printing and overlaying it onto the selected paddle. To ensure a pristine canvas, I seal the wood, followed by two coats of Gesso. With the paddle primed, I hand-sketch the design before delving into the expressive world of acrylic painting.
  3. Paddle and Design Painting: The transformation unfolds as I apply acrylics to convey the envisioned design. After completing the painting, I treat the back of the paddle with a sleek black finish, sign it, and bestow it with a unique name. To safeguard the artistic creation, two coats of clear varnish are delicately applied. The result is not just a paddle; it's a masterpiece that bears the mark of craftsmanship and dedication.
  4. Shipping & Delivery: Once the creative process concludes, the crafted paddle is securely packed and shipped or personally delivered to the client.
